You have made a great decision to get help and support from a therapist, as therapy can be a very rewarding and life-changing experience. There is nothing more empowering than being challenged in ways that will allow you to make changes you never thought could be possible. Freeing yourself from painful emotions and patterns will make you ready to tackle anything that comes your way!
To see if we are a good fit, I always recommend that prospective clients schedule an initial 15 minute phone consultation to discuss your goals and expectations for therapy. During that time I can address any initial questions or concerns you have about the therapy process. If we both agree that my skillset and therapeutic style meshes with what you are looking for, we can move forward with scheduling the initial in-person session. I cannot express enough how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. If we decide that we are not a good fit, I will try to provide you with a few referral resources that can better match your needs.
