Teletherapy can be a useful and convenient alternative to in-person therapy. A client only needs to have: a working computer or phone, good internet service, and a private setting.
For video sessions, I use a secure platform that allows for talk therapy and EMDR sessions if a client wishes to use this modality. So yes, I am able to do EMDR sessions online. There is no app or program that needs to be downloaded. All you have to do is click the link sent to you. It’s very easy.
Some people can be uncomfortable with, or overly distracted when using a video format, which will oftentimes detract from what the client wants to focus on and talk about. For this reason, I also offer phone sessions. It’s an easy and convenient alternative that allows a client to participate from almost anywhere without having to worry about having reliable internet services.
The cost for a teletherapy or phone session is the same as in-office session costs: $150 per 60 minute session.
If you prefer video or phone sessions, just indicate that when contacting me.
